Roast pork is a classic that people like to prepare. With the help of this recipe, you can conjure this great dish easily and quickly.
Ingredients for four servings
- 2 Tbsp oil
- 1 prize pepper
- 1 prize salt
- And 1 Pk Sauce thickener
- 1 kg Roast pork
- 4th Tbsp mustard
- 2 Federation Soup greens (carrots, celery)
- 300 ml of water
- 2 Pc Onions
First, wash the meat and rub the mustard, and season with salt and pepper.
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees (convection).
Next, peel the onions, cut them into rings, or sauté them whole in a large pan with oil.
Now add the meat to the onion and fry briefly on all sides over high heat until the beef gets colour.
Next, pour water on top and then put the meat and liquid in a casserole.
Wash the soup greens such as carrots, celery tuber, and leek, prepare, cut into cubes, also place in the casserole and cook with the meat for about 90 minutes.
During the cooking time, pour the meat stock over from time to time. If the meat becomes too dark towards the end of the cooking time, the heart can be covered with aluminium foil and cooked to the end.
At the end of the cooking time, pour the remaining meat stock out of the mould, mix with the sauce thickener, and serve with the roast pork.
Tips on the recipe
Serve sprinkled with fresh parsley as side dishes fit fried potatoes or sauerkraut.
