I would like to share my version of the Ceasar Salad recipe with you, now. Allow me to add a little history to it. As a matter of fact, there are a couple of outstanding beginnings.
History Of Ceasar Salad
We generally attribute the Ceasar salad recipe to restaurateur Caesar Cardini, an Italian immigrant who operated restaurants in Mexico and the United States.
The readiness of the salad dressing is very basic and was made ahead of time.
Simply remember to put a sticky cover on the outside of the sauce, if you intend to save it in your cooler for 24 to 48 hours, else you will get a thick surface on top.
Ceasar Salad Dressing
This dressing can be used for different plates of mixed greens, obviously like tomatoes, cucumber, avocado, and egg, for example. Furthermore, you can make a few other versions of the Ceasar plate of mixed greens: with eggs, smoked salmon, avocado, bacon, shrimps, and so on.

Ingredients of Ceasar Salad
- 2 romaine lettuces
- 75gm parmesan cheese
- 10-15cm baguette
- 10gm butter
- 2 slices of chicken fillets
- 150gm liquid cream (25% fat)
- Olive oil
- 1 egg yolk
- 25gm wine vinegar
- 3 tablespoons anchovy cream
- 1 garlic clove
- Salt to taste
How to make Ceasar Salad
Mix the egg yolk and 4 tablespoons of olive oil in a small bowl (use your hand to mix softly).
Take 30gm of parmesan cheese and grate it. Grate the garlic clove, too.
Add the grated parmesan, garlic, and vinegar to your bowl. Mix them well!
Add the liquid cream and anchovy cream and mix thoroughly
Add salt and pepper. Set aside in your fridge.
Wash the salad and place the leaves in a large bowl or serving plate.
Melt the butter in a frying pan and stir-fry the chicken until well cooked and golden on each side.
Cut the chicken into slices.
Cut the bread into cubes and grill them in the frying pan.
Last Steps of Ceasar Salad
Add the chicken slices, the bread cubes, and the rest of the parmesan cheese cut in thin slices to the lettuce.
Spread the salad dressing and serve.
You can add capers if needed, else it will still taste good with all the above ingredients. Just have your healthy Ceasar Salad!
